Hello AMCC curlers,

During the summer, AMCC volunteers have been completing behind-the-scenes work necessary to welcome back our members in late September.

Prior to registering for your leagues through our website, you will need to create an account for yourself, using the instructions below. Please complete this step as soon as possible; do not wait until the last minute.

Please note:

  • Paying your league fees online is completely optional. You will be able to pay your fees in-person at the club's Open House day on September 18, and on several later dates in the club office. Accepted payment methods will include cash, cheque, e-transfer, PayPal, and payment card (debit, credit).

  • If you are not able to register through the website by yourself, staff will be able to complete the registration process for you at Open House night, and in the Club Office prior to your league's first game.

  • Each account on the AMCC website must use a unique e-mail address. There are some tricks that can satisfy this requirement in households that only have one e-mail account.
    • For MTS customers, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. are unique and will send messages to the same mailbox. You can also sign up for additional mailboxes.
    • Similarly – if your e-mail address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. are also unique and will send messages to the same mailbox. This “plus code” trick also works with Shaw mail, Hotmail,, and many other free e-mail services.

  • Parents of youth curlers should also ensure that they have one account created for themselves - which will be used by the account owner to register for his/her own adult leagues, as well as their child’s Youth league. One adult account can be used to register all children in a household. Youth Program description updates are pending, current information may be found under the "Curling" menu on our home page.

Account Creation

  1. Using your favorite web browser, go to
Note: If possible, use a large screen device (tablet, PC) to complete the registration process, as it will be easier to enter your information.

  2. Scroll down to the Member Login heading, and click the Sign Up link.
  3. Fill in all of the required fields (marked with a symbol) on the on-screen registration form. You will have to choose a username (not taken by any other member) and password (use something that you can remember, but will not be guessed by others) for your account.

    • Ignore the “Year of Birth” field that does not have a star next to it. This information is used to assign you to one of six broad age categories in the roster AMCC is required to provide to CurlManitoba every year.
    • Please give some careful consideration to your chosen Emergency Contact. If at all possible, list somebody who will not be in the facility at the same time as you, in case there is an emergency that affects all occupants.
    • Phone numbers must include Area Code, with dashes between groups of numbers (e.g. 204-555-1212).

  4. Click the blue Sign Up button at the bottom of the form. webreg3
If you are using a phone to sign up and the button does not make the next step appear - try turning your phone sideways (wide); scroll through the entire form and look for any fields highlighted in RED. This indicates missing or incorrectly entered information (most common issue: phone number not entered as xxx-yyy-zzzz - you MUST use a dash between groups of digits).

  5. Wait for the confirmation message to appear in your web browser.

You will now need to check the e-mail account that you provided during the registration process for a message that will contain a link to start activating your account. Note that you must use a valid e-mail address for sign-up - and each account must use a unique e-mail address.

Account Activation

  1. You must confirm your account before remaining steps will be possible to complete.
Check your e-mail account for the confirmation message (which will be SIMILAR to the one below) and click on the link provided within it.
  2. You may be contacted by AMCC’s Club Manager to confirm your identity. If so, please respond to the message promptly, then wait up to three business days for an e-mail (similar to the one below) indicating that your web account is activated.

You are now ready to login to your AMCC account and begin signing up for your chosen leagues (once the sign-up pages have been published). See instructions above - creating an account alone DOES NOT sign you up to play in any leagues; you must complete the "League Sign-Up" process.

League Listing

A list of currently confirmed leagues may be viewed here:

  • Listed fees are based on a 10% increase from last year's ice rental rates (which will be discounted for members who paid fees last year - details will be announced when online sign-up is made available).
  • Except where league conveners asked for AMCC to collect additional funds on their behalf (e.g. for prizes, meals, etc - 100% of which will be transferred to the league by AMCC when the sign-up window closes) - the fee listed covers 100% of ice costs only. For leagues that chose not to ask for this additional fee collection through the registration process, your convener may require additional payment later in the year.
  • Some minor adjustments to the published fees, as well as the league list, may be made prior to online sign-up opening.

Hello AMCC Members,

It has been a very trying couple of months since the Club was forced to close our doors in February as a result of the Pandemic. While our season may have ended prematurely, your Board of Directors have been working very hard behind the scenes to ensure we are prepared and will be able to open when allowed for the 2021/22 Curling Season.

We initially reported to you in February that the Club was projecting a deficit as a result of having to end our season early. This deficit would have increased significantly the longer we remained open while waiting for the restrictions to be lifted. We can now report that because of the Club's fiscal responsibility and fund raising efforts, support from all three levels of government, Curl Manitoba, and the support we received from our members - the club has avoided running a deficit for the 2020/21 season.

As documented in our Return to Play Guidelines, the Club stated that it would not be providing immediate refunds in the event of a closure or cancellation of the season. However, we are pleased to report that we have committed to applying the remaining funds from this season towards next season's membership fees for those members who had paid their season fees.

Planning is underway for the 2021/22 season and for the first time in recent memory the Board has reached out to the membership for an active role in participating with the Club’s Directors in ensuring that we are able to provide you with the best possible experience for the upcoming season. This planning includes how we will be addressing the remaining funds from last season to your membership fees. Once finalized and approved our members will be notified of our 2021/2022 membership fees structure.

Thank you once again for your continued understanding and support through these difficult times. With vaccines now being put into arms, there is genuine optimism that we can turn the corner and look forward to a great season this fall.
