Ernie Oliver Stick Spiel: Sep 26-27

In keeping with previous seasons, the 32 team Ernie Oliver 2 person Stick Spiel was the first group to utilize the ice for the 2019/20 curling season. Following two days of intense competition, played on superb ice, the St Vital CC team of Earl Stephenson and Les Oliver captured the Main Event (pictured receiving the trophy from Ernie Oliver).

Numerous AMCC entries ensured that the host club was well represented with the teams of Paul Batchelor/Leroy Clarke and John Bazarkowich/Martin Nechwediuk capturing the second and third Events respectively. The Nation wide growth of 2 person stick curling is truly remarkable with AMCC boasting a total of 5 leagues. Our facility has been chosen to host the Ladies Provincial Championship 30 January 2020 as well as the 2021 Provincial Championship.

The AMCC is pleased to host the WCT / MCT Atkins Classic (Men's and Women's teams) 25-28 October. Stay tuned for further details.
