Weekly Club-operated and Rental Leagues
If cancellations or closures are necessary due to a coronavirus outbreak either within AMCC or in the greater Winnipeg / Manitoba community, immediate refunds will not be provided.
- Collected membership and ice rental fees will be retained by the club.
- Funds necessary to pay fixed costs (insurance, taxes, and utilities) will be disbursed through the end of April, 2022.
- Remaining funds will be returned back to Leagues for dispersal.
The club is committing to you, our members, by directing the funds necessary to put the ice in and get the club up and running for the season. In return, we ask that you commit to AMCC and understand that we are a non-profit organization and will be unable to provide refunds if closures or cancellations occur. DO NOT register if you do not accept this risk.
Casual Ice Rental
Refunds for casual rentals will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Expect that any expenses incurred by the facility in support of your event will not be refunded if it has already commenced.

League Fee Credits for 2021-22
The following chart summarizes the club’s operating expenses for the cancelled 2020-21 season.
Surplus funds in the amount of $11,555 (representing 7% of the total operating expense incurred / 10.4% of member curling fees collected in 2020-21) have been allocated in the 2021-22 budget, to return to players who paid fees in 2020. The percentage breakdown (of the league’s fees remitted compared to the total collected by AMCC) and credit amount for each league is shown in the chart below.
League conveners will contact registered curlers to distribute refunds after this season’s registration window has closed in late September / early October, 2021.
